From Heathrow Airport to London Borough of Richmond upon Thames
Heathrow Airport is about 10 miles away by car or Taxi. Take the M4 Motorway heading towards London and exit at Chiswick Roundabout (A205) and follow the signs to Kew Gardens and Richmond (A205)
Alternatively buses run from all terminals at Heathrow to Feltham station every 10 minutes. From Feltham there are direct trains to Twickenham and Richmond.
Alternatively take the Piccadilly underground line from Heathrow and change for the 65 bus (Richmond & Kingston) at South Ealing underground station.
Alternatively take the Piccadilly underground line from Heathrow and change to the District Line at Hammersmith underground station - please note that you need to get on to a District line train going to Richmond (NOT EALING BROADWAY).

Take A23 (signposted M23)
At Junction 9a roundabout take the 1st exit onto the M23 SPUR (signposted M23 London, Brighton)
At roundabout take the 1st exit, then join the M23 motorway (signposted London)
Leave the M23 at junction 8 (signposted Heathrow), then join the M25 motorway.
Leave the M25 at junction 12 (signposted Basingstoke, Southampton, Sunbury), then join the M3 motorway.
Cross flyover and at end of motorway continue forward onto the A316 which will bring you to Richmond
Alternatively take the train from Gatwick direct to Clapham Junction (NOT the Gatwick express which goes direct to London Victoria). From Clapham junction there are direct trains to any of the railway stations in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames Borough.
From City of London Airport to London Borough of Richmond upon Thames
At the front of the terminal you can take a special airport shuttlebus to link up with Canning Town, Canary Wharf and Liverpool Street, all on the London Underground. You can then take the tube to London Waterloo and get a train to Richmond, or change onto the District Line of the Underground for Richmond and Kew.
